A Classic in the Making

Both of McLure’s companion comedies have been charming audiences since their inception in 1979, solidifying their place as mainstays in theatre productions for over four decades. In Laundry & Bourbon, audiences will get to meet Elizabeth, Hattie, and Amy Lee as they dish on the ups and downs of small-town life and tackle the challenges that follow Roy’s return from Vietnam. This trio captures the essence of friendship and community as they share heartfelt conversations about love, life, and growth.

On the flip side, Lone Star takes us behind the scenes at a local bar where Roy, Ray, and Cletis reflect on Roy’s military adventures and his cherished 1959 pink Ford Thunderbird. Expect an entertaining mix of nostalgia and humor as these characters reminisce about the past with a touch of charm.

Meet the Cast and Production Team!

The cast is brimming with talent! The stellar lineup for Laundry & Bourbon includes:

  • Kennedy Pollard as Elizabeth
  • Keviana Marshall as Hattie
  • Emily Enos as Amy Lee

The creative wheels are turning with a dedicated production team, featuring Ella Rich as the Production Stage Manager, Beth Smith handling lighting design, Wren Hamrick bringing vibrant costumes to life, Jeasmine Blyther crafting sound experiences, and Yassiar Brown coordinating props.

Meanwhile, the cast of Lone Star is equally impressive:

  • Tobias Knight as Ray
  • Glenn Roberts as Cletis

This production also boasts an enthusiastic production team, with Ashleigh Ponder as Production Stage Manager, Daniel Mason as Assistant Stage Manager, along with Joshua Chambers for lighting design, Collette Miller for costume design, and both Jeasmine Blyther and Yassiar Brown working on sound and props.
