In the peachy quaint town of Aiken, a troubling incident unfolded recently that has left many residents on edge. The local police are diving deep into an attempted armed robbery that occurred just last Sunday morning, and they’re asking the community for a little help in cracking the case.
The clock struck 7:05 a.m. when the calm of Sunday morning was interrupted by a terrifying scene at the Circle K store, located at 702 Silver Bluff Road. A male and female suspect burst into the convenience store, brandishing a knife and threatening the cashier. The situation escalated quickly as they forced the store clerk to retreat into the back room.
However, this story has a silver lining! The quick thinking clerk managed to lock herself in an office and dialed 911 for help, showing remarkable courage in a scary situation. Thanks to her swift actions, she was able to alert the authorities before anything worse could happen. Moments after, the suspects fled the scene as police were en route.
So, keep those curious eyes peeled, and don’t forget that your help could make a difference in bringing those responsible to justice. Stay safe, Aiken!
